The Pills parure is worn as a mock vintage jewelry set from 1960.
This chain style jewelry set is born in 2021 as a spin off of the collection “Pods”, focused on the “nesting” of dimpled resin spheres into a geometrical handwoven structure to create dangling parts.
Colorful yet elegant, this jewelry set is easy to wear due to the lack of a closure in the bangle and the magnetic closure in the necklace. I am committed to weaving exclusively fine luxury seedbeads, metallic and metallic opaque, which are capable to confer my jewelry a sleek, playful look, and to guarantee the endurance of my creations.

Pulcinella is a chain style bangle bracelet created in 2021 as a “limited edition” design.
Inspired by Italian beauty icons from the sixties, such as Sofia Loren, this piece is meant to be a mock vintage, as the promotional video clip suggests, by mimicking hair styling and makeup, but also an avant garde type of narrative typical of popular ads from the sixties.
Delicatessen by Maracole Bijoux is a video clip aimed to promote the concept behind this bangle, which is a mock vintage from iconic advertorials from the 60ies.
Tones of black and white, plus a touch of gold… and a hint of pink.

With 24K Gold Plated Charlotte cut seed beads. With confetti resin spheres.
The idea behind this whimsical handwoven necklace is the myth of Narcissus: the repetition of the two red pods on a vertical axis hints at a mirror, through which Narcissus perpetrates her obsession with the self. The horizontal symmetry of this necklace is reinforcing the concept of the “mirroring of the self”, as well as the repetition of identical color patterns on the lateral pods.

Statement Collar for a night dress, with fine Japanese seed beads, 24 K golden seed beads, and repurposed lucite frosted vintage beads in the shape of rose buds.Lenght 24 inches.

This collection is entirely made of up cycled leather from used baseball;ls, that I collect and personally skin. I then stitch the two halves together once again, and I fill the ball with stuffing. I embroider every piece individually with love and care, and each creations is unique.
Although color combinations and materials can be selected for custom orders.
I stitched a magnet inside the middle finger of the leather glove to allow this ring to be worn.
This one is the first piece of this series born in 2020.
I love baseballs for their unique shape: they are the representation of something perfect (a white sphere) that has been cut into two halves and then stitched back into a whole. A baseball to me is the metaphor of something that has been mended.
This ornament’ shape is rooted into prehistorical representations of the female body, in particular the Venus of Willendorf, contemporary architecture (water silos), and biology (the splitting of a cell). Theme of this piece is the mystery of life and reproductive power. Two identical spheres stitched together hints at fertility (breast, eggs) and when worn on a female body as a necklace, they become like a replica of the woman's breast.
I find this shape extremely sensual and attractive to both men and women, because it resides in our prehistorical cultural heritage. It is universally identified and no needs for further explanations: the piece speaks its own story. On another level, this necklace tells a story of up-cycling; I utilized worn out leather from used baseballs, which I skinned and filled with stuffing, and eventually stitched back together embroidering seed beads through their pre made holes. The idea of embroider into pre made holes on used leather is extremely meaningful to me: the practice of re-compose something that was created industrially and then dismounted, using ancient female artisanal skills, becomes a message on its own; also because baseballs are symbols of a male doomed sport, and everything around this sport and its origins is rooted into historical gender and racial discrimination. I decided then to remove this symbol from its historical context, and turn it into a new symbol, hinting at fertility and female sexual power. I think that the whole process is dense of meaning.
As I made two of those embroidered baseballs, I placed them one against the other… and the magic happened. All of I sudden I saw two nurturing breasts, two prehistoric stone wombs, two silos for water collection, or more simply, a splitting cell during the meiosis process.
A powerful structure was created, one linked to archeology and biology, that carried in itself many layers of meaning.

I then “mend” the two halves of a baseball, by stitching them together with glass beads; I take care to choose nuances that serve my visual representation.
I embroider a baseball creating curvaceous lines that evokes snail slime, (something that has been traced and, as time passed, it dried out.)
As an embroidery artist and a bead weaver, I found the skin of a baseball an irresistible material on which to embroider seed-beads, because it comes with pre made holes.
I begin with skinning worn out baseballs, removing their hard core and replacing it with stuffing material.
My natural instinct was the to link together these two metaphorical spheres, through extra strands of seed beads, like indissoluble links, umbilical cords, energetic cords… Everything that is a representation of an emotional bond.
