In this installment we focus on the BODY of the doll — The Creaturo project springs from my background in children’s entertainment and my love for vintage cartoons; that’s why these hands have only four fingers, just like the classic animation characters that inspired them.

Design concept
Worn upside down by the neck so the doll’s hands dangle over your chest — cheeky and tactile.
Sturdy yet flexible construction gives pleasant movement while remaining robust enough for everyday wear.
Fancy magnetic closures keep the doll detachable and versatile: snap it on your necklace, swap it between chains, or remove the hands for other uses.
Intended as ornament, toy, and conversation piece — decorative enough for display, whimsical enough to play with.

Toho and Miyuki seed beads size 11/0 (shiny and opaque options included) — primary surface texture and color palette.
Dimpled resin spheres (20 mm) were used in the original samples; they are rare and no longer offered for sale on my site. You may substitute any 20 mm bead that fits your aesthetic: large glass, polymer clay, wooden, or vintage focal beads all work beautifully.
Strong beading thread, Fireline 8lb, size 11 needles, a beading mat, a thread burner , players, seam ripper, scissors
